The motor drive system plays a significant role in the safety of electric vehicles as bridge for power transmission. Meanwhile, to enhance efficiency and stability system, more studies based on AI technology are devoted fault detection diagnosis (FDD) system. This article reviews application techniques FDD recent years. AI-based is divided into two main steps: feature extraction classification. different signal processing methods discussed.
